Here is another curious, playful squirrel. Or if I’m realistic, he’s probably wary, defensive and ready to run. But still cute.

I seem to have lots of time for painting these days…
My thought when painting this cat was that he was peaceful and relaxed, but somehow he’s ended up with an evil look in his eye. I find that stare to be a bit unnerving.
I had fun with this one. Purple is my favourite colour!
The early bird gets the worm. It’s true – I recently read that Robins prefer to eat worms in the morning and fruit later in the day.
There are so many squirrels in my neighbourhood that I guess it was inevitable that I would paint one eventually. Most of the squirrels around here are black or grey, but I made this one a bit more red, because it worked so well with the background colour.
This guy looks a lot like Buzz, a cute border collie that used to come to the office I worked at. He was skilled at loudly announcing visitors and used his protective instincts to keep delivery-men in line. All bark and no bite (except for that one time…).
